What a great meeting place for those of us living away. A kind of virtual pub, where we can meet & chat. Still, nothing beats the real thing - Gibneys on a Saturday night. One of the writers suggested a livecam shot of the back lounge.
What a great idea! I lived on Seamount Road from 1958 to 1980.

Used to live in malahide untill 1990 lived in the moorings from 79-86 and then built and lived in the redbrick dormer-bungalow opposite londis on yellow walls road.  just wandering around th web bored at work and saw the web page, Colin or Bryan Gunning, micheal quirke or anyone of the likes went to oliver plunketts etc or just knows me or either susan, john, david, sharon, george or stasia bowes Email me, love to hear from you..

I lived and worked in Malahide in 1996, and was amazed to find this site when browsing on the internet.

Great to see pictures of Malahide and to read about how much it has changed since I left in 1964 after living there, on Dublin Road, since 1945...when I was very little!!  Congratulations to whoever has had the initiative to set this page up!  I look forward to being back in the village again before too long. 

It's interesting to see several names from the past in the Guest Book....Helen McCurdy (behaving I hope!), Declan Murphy (almost as old as me), the Forsyths from Canada ( was your mum's name Shirley and did she play tennis?).
