I spent a weekend in Malahide approximately 35 years ago.  It was a 21st birthday party of a family friend of my first love.  We were only 16 and it was my first black tie ocassion.  We stayed with his aunt, I cannot remember her name but I will never forget that weekend and I will never forget him.

Discovered the site in the library today so I decided to have a look.  I used the Digital postcard - that is great.  There seems to be lots on the website and I will follow it with interest.

Well done to all involved

Malahide happens to be one of my favorite places on this planet.
My relatives Liam and Deidre Dunphy exemplify what the people
of Malahide are about. Caring, lighthearted, and most welcoming
are the three adjectives I would use to describe Malahide and I hope
one day, far off, I may live there myself, or at the very least, visit often.

Thank you, visiting your Malahide site is more than a trip down memory lane; it is a real tonic for a Claddah Boy turn South China Sea Walla.

As I virtually drifted through the town I could almost smell again the aroma of Mr. Samuel's' famous bon-bon's from his sweet factory and shop. (is it still there?)  Malahide was special then, no magical, from the Saturday matinee in the old "Flick House" just down and across from the sweet factory.    Where as noisy youngsters we thrilled to the weekly exploits of Charlie, Buster and The Keystone Cops to our weekly serial 'Nyoka', 'Jungle Jim', and the 'Phantom'.  There I go again, memory flashes of Ma. Weldrige (I hope I got the spelling right) trying to control three hundred or so teenagers as we went wild in Her Malahide Cinema for the "Rock Around the Clock" matinee.  Memories are made ...

Thanks for the tonic and keep up the good work.

Viewing the sights of the Ireland and the Castles. I just stopped by this web page, and it caught my attention. I am a descendant of the Talbot families. Your web page is attractive, and very eye appealing with the exquisite green lawns overviewing the "Castle" grounds. I enjoyed you web site! Marie

I will be in Dublin for the Marathon in October (as a participant). I am looking for visitor's information for Malahide Castle (specifically the Fry Train Museum) for that time of year. Where can I find it? Malahide looks like a great place to visit. Thank you.
