What a joy... to look at a website of the village I grew up in... My sister sent me a digital postcard and I accessed the website from there.  Will visit often. Keep up the good work.  Could not access ST. Oliver Plunkett's website unfortunately... perhaps a problem with the server.  Hope to access that soon as I have special ties there.... My gt.gd. father JOSEPH CANNONN was at the battle of Waterloo (1815)It is said he came from Malahide to Australia in 1824.Still to prove this information.Are there any people there who have the surname Cannon still in your town ?.

We are planning a trip to Ireland and want to stay one night just outside of Dublin.  What a great way for a traveller to decide that your town is a great place to stay!  I also appriciated menu prices to give us an idea of what those costs may be.  Now if I could only find out what a pint of Guinness will cost us in Ireland, I will be able to plan out a budget!

Visited Malahide last year. The walk between Malahide and Portmarnock is very beautiful, but is was very obvious that a lot dogs walk in this area.  Is it not a offence not to clean up after your dog. However having said that,there are only 2 garbage bins along this walk, by the steps leading down to the rocks.

Should there not be a least a bin  beside the seats.  This might encourage the owners to clean up . I will be visiting Malahide again this year,and I hope by then this problem has been taken care of.  Malahide is such a beautiful town, it is a shame to see this kind of Health Issue ignored.

A very nice site, indeed.  My mother was born and raised in Malahide, and I have been many times, and love it.  My gran's house is now a book store on Church Road, and I have a cousin living in Castle Terrace (Mark Harrold).  I'll be sure to visit the site again!  Thank you!
