I had a short visit to Ireland in 2000 but was only able to be in the West at that time. Next time I will come your way. I have quite a few ancestors from several parts of Ireland and am looking forward to seeing where they were. I have a little problem at the moment and I am hoping against hope that someone can help me. I need to know if there is a street in Malahide called St James's Terrace. I fear I may have been given false information as part of a business deal and that you don't have such a street in your town. I have tried my best to find out on the internet but have only found 2 such streets in Milltown and Dublin city south. It would help me a great deal if some kind person could verify if there is or is not such a street in Malahide. Thank you for now and I will write again when I come your way. I have two children in England and am beginning to travel quite a bit. I learned a lot about Ireland from my grandmother and I love what I have seen so far. We stayed at the Grand Hotel for two days and loved the entire area. We had been searching Bagenalstown, County Carlow for our great grandfathers (Thomas Hemingway) house and any distant relatives. With the help of the local people we found the house a cemetery and met a few new cousins. Best trip I had ever been on. I want to come back again. |
