I was in Ireland a few years back and had only planned on visiting Malahide for a day. My father and I spent numerous days in this beautiful town. Oscar Taylors was a most memorable stop for pints and dinner. I can't wait to go back.

It was a great pleasure to be in Ireland and it was quite a surprise to visit Malahide which me and my wife enjoyed so much. The city itself and its citizens made us feel at home. It was a brief stay in the city but kindness was something that must be said. Thank you Malahide! And thank you for this site! Congratulations from Brazil.

A few years ago, my wife and I lived in Malahide for about 10 months before we moved back to Switzerland. It was a lovely time at Townyard House at Townyard Lane! Great people, great view of the sea, great pubs. Every year we spend our holidays in Ireland and return to Malahide for a few days. We surely hope to come back here one day for good! In the meantime we even got Irish passports...

Hello
I´ve seen Malahide first in a movie called "Across time and death"(I think,it´s the name of the book by Jenny Cockell, the german title was "Tränen der Erinnerung/Tears of remembrance") and I was totally fascinated from the pictures of your town at once! It looked so nice and peaceful,I hope to get a chance to visit you next year. Best wishes from Germany, Christian

A wonderful site. I spent many happy childhood summers staying with my Auntie Betty Harrold, Uncle Paddy, and cousins Des, Rob, Paul, Mark and Karen at Castle Terrace. Have not been back since 1995, but hope to return in December for the wedding of cousin Mark, and a few visits to Gibneys, Duffy's, and Smyths are definately on the agenda. Keep up the great work.

Had a look around your site and it brought back so many great memories. I used to live in Malahide as a child and was back for a visit last Bank Holiday. I used to live at No 3 Millview court. It was great seeing my old school and where I had my first communion and my old house. I must say, the Marina looks fantastic now !! Looking forward to my next visit, when I hope I will be able to stay a night or two and experience Malahide's pubs as I was too young at the time!! Any good tips on the best pubs most welcome!!
