Living in Malahide
Malahide is a town of 16,000 people. We are a vibrant community with a large range of community associations, services, clubs and facilities. There is so much to do in Malahide we'll break it down for you.
We represent and look out for the interests of all the residents of Malahide. We meet monthly to identify problems or opportunities and to find ways of addressing them. We keep an eye on the proceedings of the County Council and the various specialist departments such as Roads, Drainage, Planning etc. When issues arise that can affect the whole village, we take action ourselves. We also publish a regular Newsletter for residents, for more information click here.
We represent and look out for the interests of all the businesses of Malahide. Our mission is to encourage new and developing businesses in Malahide and represent the business community to government, local authorities etc. We also run a number of events, most notably the annual Malahide Festival. There is a Committee meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of every month and anyone is welcome to attend. For more information click here.
The Malahide/Portmarnock/Howth Ward is represented on Fingal County Council by five elected Councillors. For details of your representative, please click here.
