Malahide Heritage Village is the heart of the community with a vibrant atmosphere and is filled with shops, restaurants and pubs. Malahide Castle & Gardens
Malahide Castle & Gardens is one of Ireland’s premier tourist attractions, set on 260 acres. This magnificent and historic 12th century castle had been home to the Talbot family for over 800 years. The Castle and Gardens were reopened in 2012 with a state of art Visitor Centre and newly accessible Gardens which feature many rare species and are a most for all horticultural enthusiasts. Malahide Beach & Coastal Walk
Malahide is home to golden sandy beaches, miles of beautifully rugged coastline and stunning views of Lambay Island, the Howth peninsula and Dublin Bay. Relax on the beach, go for a swim or take in the sea air and beautiful scenery on our coastal walk.
Malahide Marina
The Marina supplies one of the iconic picture postcard views of Malahide with hundreds of yachts moored against the horizon. The Marina, one of the largest in Dublin with over 300 berths, combined with the well established yacht club makes Malahide a popular destination for visiting yachts from Ireland and overseas while the sheltered Broadmeadow estuary is ideal for dinghy sailing and windsurfing.
Annual Events
Malahide hosts two annual festivals, the ‘Malahide Has It’ Summer festival takes place every July and in December Santa visits the village for the annual Christmas festival.
